Esti Shohat Rozenfeld
Esti was born and raised in Kibbutz Kerem Shalom in the western Negev. As a teenager she moved to Kfar Saba and was active in the local chapter of the Hashomer Hatzair youth movement. Esti completed her first degree in industrial engineering and management at Ben-Gurion University. She went on to work for a decade with software companies in the high-tech industry in project management and development. After several years in high-tech, she decided to change direction and return to public-political involvement. With a master’s degree in public policy from the Hebrew University, she joined the Hand in Hand community in the southern Sharon and Triangle region as a key activist and partner in promoting the establishment of the Hand in Hand Beit Berl school. Four years ago, Esti joined the professional staff at Hand in Hand, first as the resource development coordinator for Israeli gifts, and this past year began a new position as the organization’s operations manager.
